Originally brought in as the construction manager to realize a proposal by Fradkin Mcalpin Associates, we quickly rose to the challenge of taking a nuts and bolts distillery project to another level. Envisioned as a budget driven industrial project, a truly auspicious collaboration developed between all of the parties involved to figure out how to make it sing. From the high pressure boiler installation to the TIG welded stainless steel piping, Rob Herschenfeld was in his element wringing the most out of his industrial aesthetic. The custom catwalk and embossed concrete detention tank help to unite the production space with the full custom bar. Using 200+ year old oak, hickory and industrial steel sections to create the bar, seating and lighting fixtures, Chris Rucker succeeded in creating a unique space that unites the bar and the production floor and provides the proper atmosphere for enjoying the specialties of the house.
